Course description
The lecture (in English) will provide an introduction to the fundamentals of clinically relevant research and will briefly discuss terminology, research questions, and study design. Participants are recommended to attend this lecture before they attend Clinical Epidemiology II.

Course description
The lecture (in English) will introduce the fundamental methods for exploratory and descriptive data analysis for clinical, patient-oriented research. During the lecture, topics such as data coding, data tables, measures of central tendency and dispersion, plotting data, probability distributions, and simple data simulation will be clarified while using the free statistical package R.
